She’s selling her store for an undisclosed healthy amount.

As a fan of the ‘Sex and The City’ TV series, one would be pretty familiar with the name Patricia Field – after all, she’s gone on to style the fabulous characters, all the way to Hollywood A-listers like Beyonce and Anne Hathaway.

She’s announced her decision to close her standalone Bowery store in New York, according to New York Daily News. She was quoted by the website as saying, “I’ve enjoyed the game… but I’m getting tired, because the store] has grown to such a size. I want to open my social life back up, and go to the gym for a swim every day. I can’t do normal things anymore, and I’m feeling it.”

I’ve not been to New York yet but it’s always been a dream of mine to hit the big city, as well as pop by her 50-year-old store.

But fret not fans, you’ll still be able to shop for her quirky accessories and finds via her website: www.patriciafield.com
