Transport to a time of charming, worldly and vintage jewelry with World Savage, Singapore

I am a sucker for beautiful pieces that tell a story or two, lasting jewelry that can be kept as heritage objects passed down to generations of generations. Sometimes simple pieces encased in gold, silver and black gold do just the trick, and you don’t need too many big bold details to empower its beauty.

I was really fortunate to stumble upon World Savage, a cosy little jewelry store somewhere in Joo Chiat and met with owners Bridget and Hwee Yee, who intricately create these wonderful pieces I speak of in their studio space behind the store.

I’m transported to a world of can-can gowns, feather boa pens, William Blake works that adorn the shelves around the store, and encased in the beautiful wood drawers are the jewelry pieces. I am in love! I’m eyeing a beautiful ring with a gemstone, so I’m definitely coming back for that and maybe a pair of earrings or two!
